       公司以工業(yè)齒輪和工業(yè)電機(jī)為核心業(yè)務(wù)，以大功率重載齒輪箱、模塊化減速器、模塊化減速電機(jī)、風(fēng)力發(fā)電齒輪箱和變頻、輥道、冶金電機(jī)為核心發(fā)展產(chǎn)品，在齒輪行業(yè)中占有重要的地位。
       2007年8月，公司首次公開發(fā)行股票成功（證券簡(jiǎn)稱：東力傳動(dòng)，證券代碼：002164），成為齒輪行業(yè)最早在A股上市的企業(yè)。

       公司建有國(guó)家一級(jí)計(jì)量檢測(cè)中心，下設(shè)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)計(jì)量室、理化室、機(jī)械性能室、齒輪精檢室、三坐標(biāo)室、型式試驗(yàn)室，擁有德國(guó)蔡司、克林貝格、斯派克等公司生產(chǎn)的三坐標(biāo)檢查機(jī)（2500*2000*1500）、齒輪測(cè)量中心（P100）、螺旋錐齒輪測(cè)量?jī)x、直讀光譜儀、萬能材料試驗(yàn)機(jī)、超聲波探傷儀、磁粉探傷機(jī)、金相顯微鏡等一批高精檢測(cè)設(shè)備，以及德國(guó)西門子產(chǎn)型式試驗(yàn)臺(tái)（3MW）、電機(jī)測(cè)試中心、耐壓試驗(yàn)臺(tái)、出廠試驗(yàn)臺(tái)等試驗(yàn)設(shè)備，保證每個(gè)環(huán)節(jié)有序監(jiān)控。
