江蘇江威齒輪箱制造有限公司（起源于常州市江威減速機制造有限公司）始建于二OO二年十月十一日，是一家致力于技術、設計、開發(fā)、生產(chǎn)、機電化經(jīng)營一體的綜合性企業(yè)，公司注重人才、技術、管理的新理念，重視對企業(yè)的內(nèi)在素質(zhì)和企業(yè)管理水平的提高，先后進行了企業(yè)的員工培訓與學習。2004年在全國同行業(yè)率先通過了ISO9001質(zhì)量體系認證，獲國家一級計量合格單位，同年在國家工商總局也注冊了中國•江威品牌，三個商標①國內(nèi)商標權；②國內(nèi)漢字商標權；③出口商標權等

  隨著業(yè)務的發(fā)展，在2006年新建立了江蘇江威齒輪箱有限公司，2006年7月公司在常州市附近，江陰市璜土開發(fā)區(qū)征用了50畝土地，3.33萬平方米，已建設完工投入使用的廠房6598平方米，在建工程16000平方米廠房，2007年9月全部建設完工，公司擁有固定資產(chǎn)1.26億元人民幣，在職員工500人，各類專業(yè)技術人員120人，擁有各類設備500臺，其中世界先進的德國產(chǎn)磨齒機10臺，韓國產(chǎn)加工中心7臺，日本產(chǎn)先進的復合式加工中心6臺，其它數(shù)控設備10臺，國產(chǎn)大型滾齒機3臺，數(shù)控機床2臺，普通機床12臺，大型鏜、銑床3臺，及一批普通設備等等，在國內(nèi)同行中，是一家擁有設備、技術、產(chǎn)品等的中型企業(yè)。公司產(chǎn)品為塑料、橡膠、礦山、煤礦、起重、冶金、鋼鐵、塑膠、港口、水利、油田等等相配套，也可根據(jù)用戶的要求，設計非標減速機。

2007年3月為加快企業(yè)制度改革、改組，建立“產(chǎn)權明晰，權責明確，科學管理”的符合市場經(jīng)濟的新機制，增強企業(yè)活力，推動企業(yè)持續(xù)穩(wěn)定發(fā)展，公司全資控股，并收購了無錫市遠宇機床制造有限公司，占地66.3畝，廠房面積2.3萬平方米，以機床制造，數(shù)控機床為主，全面提升了企業(yè)經(jīng)濟實力，增強企業(yè)核心競爭力和抗風險能力，拓展了發(fā)展空間， 為企業(yè)實現(xiàn)跨越性發(fā)展提供了良好的平臺
